Oxford English Dictionary Online
This article means one thing to me: the death of the print world will be long and painful – but I can’t deny that it just may happen eventually.

I would feel much better though, knowing that the post-apocalyptic world would have a print version of the OED … seeing as there will be no internet or advanced technology to speak of … all of that wonderful verbiage…lost to the black hole of advancing technology that will eventually destroy us.

Sorry to be so melodramatic.

    Disturbing. I mean, I get the market appeal for online goods. But really, what happens when we have a massive network crash? So much for accumulation of knowledge…
